Dusty Watson

Biography & Career

Dusty Watson is known as the King of Surf Drums playing surf music for several decades with artists Dick Dale, The Surfaris, Agent Orange, Davie Allan and the Arrows, Slacktone, Jon and the Nightriders and others. Raised in Southern California, Dusty started taking drum lessons at age six and recorded his first record at age nine. He eventually joined the Musicians Union playing casuals including a stint as an orchestra pit drummer. Dusty_м_s professional career took off when he started drumming for Lita Ford after The Runaways disbanded. Some of his other credits include, Concrete Blonde, Rhino Bucket, Boo Yaa Tribe, The Supersuckers, Legs Diamond, The Queers, Becky Barksdale, Neil Merryweather.
